This is a great shot – the use of light and dark really works giving an impression of pyramids in Egypt. I think that the challenge link is weak, but the photo deserves a good score. (8)

Love this one – it's a great macro shot with very good use of colour tone. My only gripe here is; I think the really great texture behind the stamp should have extended all the way to the top of the picture. That said, it doesn't spoil the feel of the picture. (9)

It's bold, it's dead cheeky, and it flies in the face of the challenge... But, the sun is, without doubt, old... I'm scoring 10 for this; it's a shot I'd wished I'd thought of, and you've executed it with skill. Even the title has put a smile on my face - will others see it this way?
