untitledby darylbrownComment: You should not (in my opinion) have used the modern torch. It also makes the picture too busy. Lighting is great, in fact, that torch is really my only beef. An old light in the dark would have worked really well... Sorry to sound so negative. (5) |

Lucy's Doghouseby muckpondComment: Is the dog still living there? If you stick your head in, I wonder if it will come out again? Nice picture, great atmosphere. I can't decide on the technical aspect, it could be better technically I suppose, but despite that I like the picture enough from the composition and challenge side of things to score it well. Great picture (8) |

Waning Crescentby MorganComment: This is a great picture, and I think the moon is about as old as you can getâ€Â¦ (9) |

Grumpy Old Menby tydComment: Too much open space and the colour tint take so much from a really good idea (in my view). It seems to take away the central theme. Sorry (4) |

Not going Anywhere!by PointComment: I love the content and the picture itself – I'd have preferred a colour image in this case, because I think it would show the age of this splendid old engine. (8) |

The old Grand Falls Bridgeby JackoComment: Not really sure about this one, it's technically OK... But it seems to lack something in composition... (5) Sorry it's not more, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking at. Perhaps I've just missed the point, but perhaps more of the subject would have been better. |

Old Jobsby marinajoeComment: It's a good idea, but it seems (to me) to lack a central theme. Technically (it's not an easy shot) it's well exposed... |

Key to the pastby shortredneckComment: I love macro - I love the way this looks like a giant key leaning on a door... An unusual method of locking a door. I have to score it 10 on the grounds that it meets the challenge and not because I'm a macro fan, it's also a blooming good shot - so I have... It deserves to do well... |
