The colors seem a bit washed out and don't like the cropped out reindeer on the upper left. But the title of this photo is hilarious and made me laugh out loud -- a 7.

This photo has potential, but is either too close or too wide. I would prefer to see either a wider shot with the kite in it, or -- even better -- a closer shot of the family to see their facial features and expressions. This one gets a 6 1/2 -- so I'm rounding up to 7.

This is an interesting photo with a lot of potential. The head on shot of the sun is too harsh -- looks more like a nuclear explosion than dawn. But the reflection on the water it creates and the silhouette of the man work well. So, I think your angle is right on. I'd just like to see more of the silhouetted man against the sparkling water -- and keep the sun as your light source -- not your subject. I give this photo a 7.

Hmmm... This photo actually has a lot of potential, but the uninspiring background detracts from your subject. The creases in the background are distracting. It would work better if the background were either solid (as in a studio) or if we saw more of this candles's surroundings. The smoke from the candle is an excellent visual illustration of wind. I give this one a 7 -- for concept, if not execution.
