I find something awkward with the composition you've choosen... I wish I could point it out but I'm having a hard time defining it.. Lets just say I find it a bit awkward. I'm pretty sure you've been voted down as the subject is larger when compared with other entries. However, I like it. 8. I like the way blue breaks into a light shade of red.

I have a shot of a similar subject too! Not this good though. Would have helped if the focus was on the head of the bird; it appears to be a little blurred.

I would have cloned out the tiny grey spots on the hills. The horizon appears to be leaning a bit to the right too... just a bit
