Gray at the Rootsby Adam520Comment: Very nice. What am I looking at? You have some exposure issues to work out with this one, but I kinda like it. Reminds me of a fallen tree in the deep woods I often wander. It's called "Boar Rock" because it looks like a big pig with gaping jaws and droopy ears. (5) |

Coldby arnitComment: She certainly looks cold, not to mention out of place. Looks like a haggard old fishing boat in the wastes of New England. I wonder if she enjoys the smell of fish on the wind and and spray off the bow. (5) |

Black Linesby egillibsenComment: Now that is a nice one. The skeletons of old buildings or perhaps the building blocks of new ones? Anyway, this image gives me a despondent feeling, so I'm guessing you want to portray decay. It seems it's taken at a shorefront site, if that is sand in the foreground. If I have any problem with this it's that it's took dark at the feet of the buildings. This works nicely in B/W. (5) |

I hate this cameraby rmtm333Comment: Funny! I have a Kodak CX4230, myself. I tell you, not a pretty sight at all in bad light. You shouldn't hate your camera, though; learn to love it and exploit every strength. Sometimes it seems as if my little guy has a bit of fire in that machanical belly of his. Overall, I think the image looks a bit cramped, kinda like my dorm. I would have cropped a bit less, and maybe used brighten or raised the exposure to get in some details of the camera model and such. (5) |

Heavy Frostby PixelstateComment: Ah, looks like the frown of a young boy turned away from a carnival ride in Ocean City, Maryland for being too small. Good detail on this flower. You should have seen that boy's face. It would have brought tears to your eyes. I didn't see it; the face was mine, and my mother's the one who told me about it. (7) |

Nasturtiumby pechkaComment: I think it's quite nice. Reminds me of a walk I took with a high school sweetheart back on '01. We were walking along poking each other in the ribs as we often did, we we came upon a peculiar leaf in the middle of the path. She said it resembled the tree star from Land Before Time. I told her she was crazy. Sher looked me in the eye and just started laughing. She said, "You're the only one I can be this stupid around." That's when she kissed me.

Alley Catby efrenComment: Yes, now that is a view the world can enjoy. Pity about the tail. |

Papa Gorillaby rkligmanComment: Reminds me of John Goodman. Very good facial expression capture. Is he related to someone you know? 6 |

Musingby mannjuditComment: Something rather rough and gravelly about this image. I like this picture, though. The girl has the interrupted quality of a young Winona Rider with a slight dash of neighborhood skank. |

Gingerby neesa108Comment: Ginger has very disconcerting eyes. I once woke up after dozing off on the couch to find my dead cat, Sam, looking down at me in much the same way. Then I woke up again and was very relieved. |
