Blue VWby jAllynComment: Oh yeah baby! 1966? Too bad about the reflected building, but it's OK. I think you chose good processing techniques. |

Hallwayby JessiLaurenComment: the very slight 'off kilter' feel makes it feel like you meant to say 'Asylum Hallway' :) |

Endangeredby kwiktorComment: i think the most important part of this is the eye looking out of frame. Gives it a forlorn feeling. |

Dichotomyby aznymComment: interesting effect there on the man's face. What really takes this up a notch though are the supporting elements.
Especially the pairings.
2 women with umbrellas that look like 1 woman with 2 umbrellas.
Man with no umbrella with what looks like 1 woman with 2 umbrellas as one pair separating a Man looking left on the left and the man on the right looking right.
Man in motion in the opposite direction of the bus with the visual link.
No visible line on the ground separating sidewalk from road (a row of innocuous dots), and a tree dividing the frame which appears dead/fruitless/purposeless.
Pretty cool shot I'd say.
Probably getting a pretty crappy score too. Oh well, try this 1 0n for size. ;) |

...he loves meby bmartuchComment: I'm of a mixed opinion on the strong magenta in her skin tones. On one hand it makes her look a bit feverish/processed, and on the other hand, it creates a nice visual link to the flower.
Same goes for the hue of her eyes with the flower.
Fortunately there's a fairly heavy hand on the vignetting that makes it obvious that the picture is 'worked on', so it's likely that a good chunk of that is that way because of choice.
I like it a fair bit, but just shy of a 10t. |
