Her Momentby WickedSoundComment: I really like this. There's so much that is not shown here. This leaves a lot of room for the imagination. The soft fuzzy shadowy areas in the bottom left really work nicely to get the curiosity and imagination to start working overtime.
The expression on her face starts the ball rolling and every time the eye comes back to it it shows a different emot10n. |

Fight for knowlegeby mb2006Comment: I wonder how many people said something about this being underexposed...
I don't see that at all. I see that the light is intentionally low. Light is a frequent metaphor for knowledge, so the light being low could easily be referring to the boy's early stage of learning development.
I could be wrong on the intent here, but it does look intentional.
Just for fun, I'm goin9 to give you a vote to help with that. :) |

C U R I O S I T Yby mia67Comment: very attractive pic. well processed as well. I like the way the reflections in the window swirl and enhance the shapes in the girls' hair. |

Ollie To Fakieby schristophComment: The hands really call to mind a similarity to feathers of a bird in flight.
My title would have been "in flight".
I find the treatment of the sky to be distracting and it does not contribute at all. In fact, cropping down to just above the top of the light pole places the skater on the top third and increases the negative space in the bottom of the frame. This emphasizes your low point of view and enhances the height/sense of flying of the skater. Also, there is a pleasant shape in the cloud which lends to a framing effect.
The vote I'm 8iving is based on that crop. :) |
