Nice arrangement of lanterns through the ages. Well done for taking the time to find this collection. Your picture is nicely focussed but lacks detail in the shadow areas. It looks like you've pushed the contrast too far. Overall an excellent shot.

Strange - it's in B&W but my brain is telling me it's green. Is that the leaves or is there really a hint of green in there? Either way it's a striking shot. But the dog house doesnt look all that old.

Lots of negative space and in this case Im not sure it adds much to the picture. The subjects are good - suitably old style of dress. I especially like th flat caps. There seems to be a blue tint to the picture, though.

I wouldn't have known it was a bridge without the title but that really doesn't matter. It's an interesting angle and the colour of the sky contrasts well with the weathered stone. I think my only wish would be for just a touch more light on that wall. Overall, though, great!

This is a tricky one - I live in England and over here this building would not qualify as 'something old'. However, I must see past my own little world and recognise that this *is* something old. It's beautiful building which, I think, could have been taken from a more interesting angle. The weather definitely gave you problems with light and there's no flash big enough to compendate for that. The car in centre shot s a little distracting too. Perhaps you should have panned up and made a feature of the heavy cloud.
