I really like the depth of field in this shot. Very warm cozy feel. I like the highlights in the glass a lot.

I like the path and closest tree on the left, though the shot feels really busy. I think it is so much of the small undergrowth with highlights and shade. Maybe a softer light that would show less texture of all the small plant leaves would soften the shot enough that the path is a clear point of focus.

The Old Barn

Very interesting subject, though the perfect framing from edge to edge, and the lack of a specific point of interest makes the shot feel more plain than it could be. I bet this barn has tons of interesting detail upclose. I would love to see a shot showing the weathered texture of some of the boards, or rusted nails, or moss growing in the shade and using an interesting angle or crop.

I like the idea of silhouetted trees against an interesting sky, but this could use an extra kick to make it more interesting. Maybe some birds flying around, or a funky angle, or maybe a negative of the shot.

The splash is pretty cool, but the shot feels surprisingly static with the dead center subject and framing. Maybe a tighter crop, or different composition would bring out the action more.
