I really like the colors in this shot. It took me a second to figure out what the subject was. I think the composition is great and the focus is good too. I'm sure this negative image works out so much more interesting than the normal color shot.

I would like this shot better if it used the full tonal range from black to white. As it is right now, the black obscures detail and detracts from the interest of the shot. Otherwise great idea and title to go with it.

The eyes in this shot are absolutely great and I wish they were more dominant. The blank forehead isn't very interesting, but it dominates the shot. I think I'd like this shot even better if it were cropped into a panoramic shot. The catchlights in they eyes are great and the focus is right on.

Excellent use of selective coloring. I think the crop is great and the focus is superb. The catchlights are very nice and strong. The smooth lighting works very well to create the very smooth skin tones.

The lighting in this shot is very interesting to me, though I wish that the shadows were less harsh. Maybe a little reflected light or 1/4th power fill flash could soften them a little. I think the pose is great in it's interaction with the background. The background is almost (but not quite) too dark since some of the details are lost and the writing is a little hard to read. The crack in the wall going down the right side of the image is a little distracting to me. Maybe cropping or clone it out would help. Great overall composition and focus.

Excellent concept for this challenge. I wish that your face and eyes were a little sharper since they are the main focal point. I think the pose is good and the lighting looks fine. I notice some image grain which I think would be fine sometimes, though I think the soft skin tones and soft lighting call more a smoother image without grain.

I like the off-center composition and smooth lighting in this shot. The catchlights in your eyes are great, and the pose/expression is fun. The background looks good all white. Great overall sharpness and exposure.

I think this idea has potential, though I wish there were more light on your face. I think that reversing the lighting of subject and background could work with the same feel the title suggests. If you selectively lit your face (or just a part of it) and left heavy shadows in the background I think that would look good.

I think this is a great concept. There appears to have been some post processing that introduces a very smoothing effect (especially in the skin), which to me makes it feel a little over processed. Otherwise, I like the pose and the props are great.
