Early Morning Mistby PoobaComment: Beautiful scene. I like how you have made a contrast between the foreground and the background but perhaps it is too much contrast, making the scene a bit unreal. What if the foreground were a little softer, preserve the contrast but make it less harsh? |

Beautiful Place & Beautiful People (or MeiGuo and MeiZu)by eschelarComment: I've been back to this one several times, trying to think of a comment. Why is it a ten? Why is it so absolutely perfect? I could same something lame about the lovely muted colors, the compositional use of diagonals, perfect DOF. But I can't find words to decribe the magic of this gentle portrait. |

Ramblers Reposeby WarbyComment: Now THAT"S a family portrait to remember! Wow. I don't think I have ever seen an infared shot with people in it. I wonder why not, this one is amazing. Has to be a 10. |

Green Appleby xcharrierComment: Mmmm...complimentary colors, yummy. You have to look twice to see that the apple is green and the background is red, backwards. Very nice focus and the centered image works well. ? more DOF, I dont know, it looks good like this. spot edit out the white on the stem and frame it. |

Enchanted Waterfallby RgarciaComment: I see the plan - you post a gorgeous tropical spot in the dead of winter for the half of the world that has most of the voters and we all say AHHHHH, I want to be there and give you a high score? Worked for me. This is lovely! That alluring hike up stream is almost irresistable. Excellent use of composition to draw the viewer in. Did you have to put in the railing to remind us to stay on the path? Is that supposed to be my reality check that there are boundaries and responsibilities even in paradise? |

Bee Sharpby dw_photoComment: I dont understand why the tilt and the desaturated background add to the image of the bee and the flower. Is it to emphasize the pointy leaves? Or make the blue of the flower stand out more? TO make it look dead? Windblown? |
