It looks like mold on coffee, I didn't get that it was beer, I thought you were referring to the microcosms of micro organisms and that interpretation makes it quite unappealing. The large area of out of focus handle is perhaps necessary to identify it as a mug but contributes nothing to the composition but distraction. Perhaps a different angle would have worked better? The bright table (?) is also a distraction. Is this negative enough?

Can you straighten up the king? Leaning pictures are a pet peeve of mine but the tilt can also hurt your score. Even if the viewer doesn't identify the problem as a tilt, they can feel that "something is off" and knock off a point. Or rotate it some more so that the tilt feels deliberate instead of accidental.
