Orange Manby tristanComment: There has got to be a good story behind this one. As an image it isn't very interesting - nonday sun is the most difficult light to shoot in - makes everything look washed out. Dead center is the most difficult composition of do effectively, must have a visually strong subject because you don;t have ans much room for leading lines, negative space, balance or contrast. |

'34 Fordby jmleliiComment: I disagree - I think the out of focus forground contributes to the mood of the image and is an effective part of the whole, not a blemish. |

The Purple One Today?by KylieComment: This is one of my favorites - I disagree that it is too busy - I think all the boats become not boats but parts of a pattern and that pattern is what makes to image interesting. |

New Watermelon Flavorby CamComment: very nicw idea - Gatorade should use it - a bit over exposed and the bottom cropped tight. The composition is wonderful All three elements tell a "summer" story. I like the way the botttle leans right and the lightning bold points left. I like the colors and the pink which reminds me that the inside of that melon will be pink. |

Define Purpleby NeuferlandComment: Great idea. not such a good composition, the bottom fan off center like that. What if you take the theme of the fans and make it look japanesey. maybe the two top fans set at an angle to each other. Actually I like it better cropped under the middle fan - so maybe just remove the bottom samples? A great statement - this should have been the mandatory first photo for voters in this challenge. |

Extraordinary Sacrificeby digistouneComment: I didn't recognize it as a purple heart - I thought it was just a trinket and you meant something about George Washington. Perhaps this is an image where you relied to heavily on the subject. Without a knowledge of what it is, the message loses it's punch. The image feels off center and off balance. |
