ooo very nice. I like the compostion and the hand. there is a lot of visual movement. There is a noise issue, and I don't think it works for this image. mabey the overall ratio is too high too.

lighting on the camera is nice, but on the face is a little underexposed. wouldn't say anything but it is a black and white portrait challenge.

very cute, but I don't know if it's going to take number one. I like the look on his face and the crop. the black and white is nice and the catch lights in the right place. the ratio on his hair is a little hight though.

I like the idea here but I feel it falls a little short on execution. the lighting feels very flat, so does the whole image. it also feels very dark. mabey a curves adjustment would help. the colors seem very dull and the focus is very soft.

I think that some may find this offensive. but from a technical point of view I don't really see why this black and white and it looks like it was just desaturated. the whole thing is just one big muddy gray. there really isn't white whites or dark darks.

and again, this can be seen as offensive so don't be suprised if it gets voted down.
