Candle-Light Wineby ReallyColorBlindComment: Looks like you went totally overboard with brightening the backround as it looks very noisy and frankly I don´t understand why as the backround is pretty distracting and would have looked much better if it were darker. I also have to put a question mark about your composition as it´s both tilted downwards to the left and there is IMHO too much space to the right and not enough to the left. I still gave you a 4 as this is of course on topic but I think you can do much better than this, just put a little bit more effort in the image next time, that´s all... On the plus side the bottle itself is lit pretty well, normally I dislke glare in the glass but here it adds some interest to the shot. |

Hot & Coldby barndogComment: A nice fit, that´s for sure. I gave this a 6 as I think it´s better than most shots in the challenge. On the downside I dislike that your glass is only half full and that there is no foam at the top, the beer glass would look so much more better if it were full with foam to the brink. On the plus side I like the grill portion of the shot, especially the flames that have nice texture and aren´t blown out as is easy to do with shots of fire. |

Fruit Tea Firewaterby kari1Comment: Just way too dark for my taste, I am a big sucker for texture in an image and here there is hardly none so I coulnd´t give this more than a 4. Too bad as I like the lighting from the bottom idea and the composition... |

White wineby desianetComment: Ohh, not really what I wanted to see as I am sitting here at work and it´s freezing outside and pouring down rain... Seeing this image really makes me want to go somewhere warmer, like to the south coast of france and relax at the beach... Anyways, I really like the "feel" to this picture and the attention to detail and the lighting is good, I gave this an 8. |

Simply Refreshingby KoriyamaComment: Nicely timed and lit but this image is a little bit to "messy" for my taste, what I mean is that I think the splash is too violent for lack of a better word. Also, there are a lot of distracting details in the image like the reflection in the bottle showing your legs and what looks like a hallway, the drops on the bottle look chaotic as they are too few to make it seem that you had them there on purpoise and that red/brown stuff behind the glass is distracting. A good effort though and above average in the challenge so it got a 6 from me. |

Volcanic Vodkaby DrAchooComment: Nicely lit, makes the image very mysterious and me curious on what this vodka tastes like. 8 from me, only thing I dislike about it is the backround. |

HOT DAMN!by 3eyedcrowComment: Nicely done, I like this shot but I would have liked it heaps more if you could have lit the bottle the same amount but the glass a little more and another combination of shutterspeed, aperture and ISO would let you get some texture to the flames, then this image would have been superb. Just A Little Earlyby gclarkComment: Not a bad idea at all but it´s a little bit dark for my taste, so dark I can´t make out any details at all in the shot so I ony gave it a 4. |

Chocolate Mocha Shakeby Postgate1Comment: Looks extremely jummy and I want one. The backround fits perfectly with the image. However, the image is a bit dark and flat for my taste, I bet I would like it a whole lot more with a simple "s-curve". (6) |

Top Shelfby livitupComment: Nicely lit and good sharpness, technically this is pretty well done. However, I have to put a questionmark about your composition, I don´t understand why you have all that room to the left of the vodka bottle and then cut off part of the martini glass on the right, I would have liked this shot a whole lot better if it wasn´t like that and also I feel that the top of the bottle should be in the shot. Just my 2 cents and if you disagree I totally respect that, this is just my opinion. (5) |
