Blue Eyesby shankswareComment: Sorry to bring this up but I feel I owe you to be honest, the skin looks very overprocessed, she looks like a plastic doll and not a real person and what a shame, she looks very attractive and a couple of blemishes only give her character wich is what I feel is missing in this picture. Nice lighting. |

Long John Silverby AlexSaberiComment: Haha, I have a feeling I know who took this photo, if I am correct this is a self portrait. I like the lighting in this one, pretty well done and I´m sure it´s doing well :) |

purple poseby redmoonComment: Sorry, I loathe soft focus and this is not an image that is going to change that fact, I simply do not understand what people like about soft focus. I just would have liked this image so much better if it were crystal clear and that is why I only gave it a 5. Like her expression. |

Mother, Mentor... My Heartby ColeyComment: Works very well to have people as backround, something I learned from the Triptych challenge. This shot works, not terribly fond of the strong lighting from below but it´s not bad either, just think I would have preferred it if the topside lightsource and the bottom lightsource had their power reversed to give off a stronger shadow from her chin. Anyway, like it, gave it a 7. |

Invitingby jeroweComment: First thing that popped into my mind when I opened this was that it needs better focus on the eyes, other than that a pretty decent photo. |

Distant Uncertaintiesby KitaComment: I have a feeling this is Kita´s shot, am I right? Pretty good, I like the composition but on the downside this would be better with some sort of catchlight in the eyes, doesn´t have to be a big one though, just would bring some life to her eyes. 6 from me. |

Kaleidoscopeby moniepennyComment: This is a perfect example why a wide lens is normally not used in portrait photography, it makes the things closest to the camera seem much bigger than the rest and isn´t flattering to most subjects. Try backing off next time and using a longer lens and I´ll bet you´ll like the results much better... |

Lisaby NodeComment: Not bad but needs sharper eyes to really "pop". |

At the Butcher's by e301Comment: Ed strikes again! When I saw this challenge theme 2 weeks ago I immediately pegged you for one of the favorites in taking a ribbon in this challenge and you did not dissapoint :) Added this image to my favorites too, like I have said earlier, I really enjoy your street photography and as far as I am concerned, you are THE street photographer here at DPC. |
