KaLeiDoSCoPeby timfythetooComment: Fireworks are nice but having seen so many of them I really need something else in the frame to make it work for me, foreground or backround... 5 |

Pink Toastby hotpastaComment: I like this shot, almost good enough to be an advertisement shot for a high class client. I like just about everything but that the fireworks are so bright they draw my eye away from the glass, I would have darkened the backround just a bit and tried eliminating blown highlights in it but like I said, a great shot and one of the best in the challenge. 8 |

Fire and Iceby chefsamComment: I like the fireworks part of the photo, the foreground is not as good but I like that you at least had a foreground. Wish it had more neutral color and was not so yellowish and that hotel sign is too bright and draws too much attention to it, I would presonally have darkened it in post processing. 6 from me. |

Sparkler Magicby kanajComment: Sorry but for me this is just not a very interesting photo. First off it´s black and white wich means no interesting colors as what is so good about fireworks in the first place. Secondly, there is no real detail in the shot, blown highlights or just pitch black with a hint of a hand in the right corner and I really require image quality to like most shot´s. Unless this is all intentional I encourage you to use a smaller aperture/lower ISO or both next time when shooting fireworks. Thus I voted 3. |

Fireworks on the dock.by djkrevComment: I assume you know this already but just in case... The shot suffers from motion blur, would have vastly improved it if you had used a tripod. I like the christmas lights around the firework though so just use a tripod next time and your all set. |

Wishesby GueDesignsComment: I am terribly sorry but I can´t understand why you chose to make this b/w, I can´t imagine it looked better monotone. Shame as I like the castle and this had potential, I at least like the composition. 5 from me. |

Fireworks of nature by eliniasComment: Well I guess this is taken in Iceland. All I can say is one of the most original and refreshing fireworks shot I have ever seen, instant 10 and a fave. I personally would have darkened the sky though to draw the aurora out more but that´s just nitpicking.
Wish I had taken this and hope you win! |
