Mother and son by jjbeguinComment: Marvelous feel to this photo. It was definitely one of my favorites from the moment I saw it. (I had a good idea it was yours too :) Congrats on another fine finish! |

Good Clean Fun by connieComment: I really like the toning and timeless design in her rain slicker... You couple those two with her ponytails and the shot could have been made yesterday, or 50 years ago... It's a such an ageless expression of joy. Congrats on a wonderful win! |

Boscsby mcmurmaComment: I created this piece using a couple of photoshop filters on the same photo, and then layering them together. On the first I used the "Find Edges" filter, converted the result to greyscale, toned it, then adjusted the brightness and contrast so that its effect would be rather subtle. On the second I used the "Dry Brush" filter and then merged the two layers together. I hope you like it. Message edited by author 2003-03-28 02:16:20. |

Clay Teapot by mcmurmaComment: Thanks for the comments everyone! Now, for a bit of silly luck with this photo... I can't seem to reproduce the tone!!! I came across it after fiddling with desaturation, but then I saved it as this little bitty jpeg and now I can't recreate the tone! Really kinda bums me out 'cause I'd like to offer it as a print. If anyone out there is good with toning, I'd appreciate if you would give it try. You can grab a low resolution copy at //www.pbase.com/image/14649456/original. |
