Well Ursala, I guess we know this is yours now :) When I first checked DPContest this morning I thought, Oh, they forgot to change the macro abstract... the judges must have goofed the voting. Then I realized it was yours and I had seen it here. It is a great macro photo. I like the compositon and the way the shadows do the crisscross on the egg. Very cool. Congrats!

Nice photo. This one is something of a sleeper, I'm afraid. It really doesnt look like much in the thumbnail, but it sure does shine when viewed full size. Great color, clarity, and composition.

Nice macro! I like that you were able to capture both the spider and the web in good focus, and that the background is nicely out of focus AND has pleasing colors in it. Also, the composition is working quite well, I think.
