nice shot. I like how the little puffs look like they're glowing. the one thing I would try to imporve is the focus. it's tough getting things in focus when your'e really close, because the depth of field shrinks way down, and sometimes the subjects are moving and whatnot. good photo, though, despite all that.

this is a great idea for a texture, and well executed. you might try including some sort of center of interest, though, because the texture itself isn't enough to carry the whole shot.

good texture, and I like the diagonal lines running across the picture. it might be nice to have something besides pure texture, though.

great idea for a texture, and I like the shapes and shadows. the one thing that bugs me is the reflections (at least, that's what they look like. could be powdered sugar or something, for all I know). to get rid of that, you could try drying off the fruit better, or perhaps using a polarizing filter (though I've never heard of using one on fresh fruit, it just might work).

looks like you cranked the contrast way up to emphasize the textures. I really like the idea, but i'm wondering if you cranked it up just a bit too high. the texture of the chains seems to have been turned into static. you know, you should do something like this for the corporata america challenge!

great texture. I like the lines that the twisting rope creates, and I like the depth that the blurred background gives the image.

nice texture. i'm not sure if the sandy texture on top of the crystal (or whatever it is) texture is necessary, but that's up to you. the only thing I would ask for is a little variation in color. othere than that, it's all good.

hey, two textures in one shot. good deal. I like the dark slug thing against the light rock background. you might try composing it differently, though. maybe shoot at his antennae head on or something to give the shot more of a point of interest.
