March of the Penguinsby magnusComment: I usually vote down the 'clever' images, probably because I'm not that clever, but in this case I'm not going to. The positioning of the beguins and the way they are lit is good. The little guy trailing behind adds some drama. And most important, it made me smile. Thanks! |

relaxby irishempressComment: I was about to pass this by hwne I noticed the glimpse of red hair, fair skin and freckles, and diamond ring (which I'm assuming has some significance). I see a fair number of shots from a similar perspective, but this is the first one that I have seen with such a personal and intimate impact. Very nice work, I hope it does well. |

Evolve by grigrigirlComment: This image has a wonderful almost abstract quality. At first I thought it was just artsy printing/manipulation, then I look closer and saw that a vail of some type was used. The exposure and processing perfectly compliment the concept. CRW_5965-sepiaby NusbaumComment: Cropped square and then with the current 8x10. Thanks Kevin for the advice, this really helped bring the focus back to her face. |

"Mork calling Orson. Come in Orson."by a5280hidiComment: The introduction of Robin Williams was definitely one of the high points of the 70's. Not a lot of wow factor in the photograph but I like the fact that is has documentary significance. |

CRW_4635by NusbaumComment: Originally posted by Sonifo: Not sure i like her pose. One breast looks bigger then the other. Lighting is perfect. |
I was also unsure of the pose, but the lighting captured my attention each time I browsed through the results from that afternoon. I wanted some other opinions, so I really appreciate your comment! |

Where is Snoopy?by YurMahBudEComment: Not a bad photo, but where do you want my attention within the frame. There is no leading line to draw my attention and there is nothing at the interestion defined by rule of thirds. I'm not one for following rules, but my eye is wondering around the image looking for a focal point. The shot did make me smile... a cheerful woodstock portrait isn't a bad thing on a cold gray day. |

sorryby jmritzComment: You nailed the flower, but the hand seems a little purple to me. The edges of the finger also seem a little harsh against the solid black background. The idea is great and the execution does have some impact. Just a few details from my perspective that make this a good image rather than a great one. |

Mad Scienceby md8speedComment: Cool shot!
I would like to have some background to give this context rather than a seamless gray background. But if using a solid background like this, you may want to get some additional light on the background to avoid the distinct shadows. |

Library of Anglesby tinkerbellComment: I think this could be really good, but it's too small to see any detail. I'm not sure what happened, but use every bit of the size that you are allowed.
I like the quality of light that I see across the table and the interesting shadows. |
