Recess Rules!by debitiptonComment: The tilt of this photo is distracting to me. Otherwise, I like the lively scene you have captured here. |

Mr. "Math" Elliottby lawreeComment: the line of the chalkboard is not parallel to the photo. This takes away a bit from the balance of this photo, which is otherwise terrifically done. |

Libraryby ssenguptaComment: I can't decide whether that chair is distracting or adds interest. Nice shot though, you would never know how high the ceiling is without your terrific angle. |

Art Classby superpopeComment: The DOF is way too shallow. There is only a slice of the art piece in focus, and it is the slice directly down the middle. This would be a strong photo otherwise. |

Long Nights Rewardedby PDavisComment: I like the effort put in here, but each of these items seems very obviously props. There is nothing wrong with that I suppose, but who would take their glasses off before putting down their pen. And the apple is there only to scream teacher. It just comes across as too artificial. Finally, the lines of the glasses and the pen lead to the apple, not to the "Very nice!", which is the subject of the title. I'd like to see a second effort and see what you come up with. This looks like a first try, but not a bad one. |

* * *by MrYuComment: Effective, yet crass. A good picture of a butthole would still be a butthole. 6. |

This "high tech" instrument was built 1892by RUEDISCHMUTZComment: What an awesome typewriter. I have a vintage typewriter of my own, but it's details are not nearly as impressive as this old Smith Premier No 2. I would liked to have seen a closeup shot of some of the more intricate details. All those gears and rods would likely hold enough interest up close to make a better photo than what seems more like a referential product shot. |
