In any weatherby kyagudinComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Great photo and congrats on 4th place, you just missed out on a ribbon. What I really liked about the photo is a) the composition and b) the story that the photo tells and I think you did a great job. I love the fog and the wetness and the terrible weather in this photo because it really does show that he'll work in any weather.
Technical: The composition is great. The bit of blur on the mans shovel shows that he's moving and doing his work instead of just posing for you. The amount of detail in the water is incredible.

Hello Tulika. This is a really good photo. It has a really good composition and exposure. But one major thing: It's not yellow, that's why it scored badly. Next time just make sure you submit your photo into the right challenge so that you don't get a terrible score like 3.7872

The roadby kyagudinComment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Hey Konstantin. Nice photo I really like the yellows and oranges, the only thing with color is I wish the green popped just a bit more. Also, I wish the cars weren't there because they're a bit distracting. I really like the lines in the rode. Also, the photo is exposed beautifully! Great photo!
Feel free to PM me with more questions, and hopefully, you do even better on your next photo. |

Perchedby satvinder69Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Hello Satvinder. Nice photo, there's not an overly excessive amount of yellow but it's there and subtle which I like about it. In my opinion, the branch underneath the one the bird is perched on is doing nothing and you could just crop it out of the photo. The isolation of the subject is good, but I would like to see just a bit more of the background around the bird.
Great photo Satvinder, and good luck on future challenges! |

Hello Marac. Good photo. And congrats on not getting a single vote below 5! What I really like in this photo is the lines of it. There is a lot of nice detail in this. Now that being said I think you might've scored higher if the thing on the left of the frame was removed because it is very distracting. Also by the window, it's just a bit to white for and if you brought the whites down I think it would've been better. Other than those two things it's an outstanding photo Marac, great job!
Hope this was helpful and you can PM me if you have any questions for me. Good luck on your next challenge! |

Hey Serdar. Great photo, in my opinion, this should've gone further up. I think people might've voted you down because of the fact it's not really a sunrise or a sunset it looks like a middle of the day sun, so next time just make sure your doing what the challenge says so that you can go higher up. But, congrats on getting no votes below five!
Hope this helped you and feel free to PM me with any questions. Good luck on challenges to come! Message edited by author 2020-10-06 10:20:56. |

Remic Rapidsby satvinder69Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Hi Satvinder. First of all, this is a great picture. I love the sun and the reflection of the sun on the water.
I think you could've done two things to make this a better photo and to have scored higher. First of all the animals on the middle left are distracting, and second of all I think you could've saturated the greens in the tree just to make them pop just a bit more.
Hope this is helpful and feel free to PM me with any questions on the critique. And good luck on challenges to come. |
