texture is one of the things that makes macros interesting, and you have some nice texture. however, the lighting seems a little hard. also the subject isn't as interesting, past the texture, as other subjects in the challenge.

this is one of the best eye pictures i have seen. most have a purely scientific type feel to them, but your's has an artistic quality that i really like. one of the softer enteries in the challenge and yet still works really well as a macro.
