Red and Greenby mtbriderComment: Incredible composition, focus and colour, one of my favourites of the challenge. Probably a ribbon here. |

Clock in Museum d'Orsay in Parisby tonnyvComment: Great focus and colour. I might have cropped the picture slightly differently, but then, I probably wouldn't have taken a picture this good to begin with! |

Get a grip!by toad32Comment: I think this is my favourite of the challenge. Great idea, excellent use of DOF and perspective. I'd love to know what you used to do this, the right edge of the photo makes it look like you used a fish-eye lens. |

Leaf Partby LilawibryComment: This is either the most unique framing I've ever seen, or you need a little tutorial on how to resize a picture. The picture itself is out of focus, but the colour is vibrant and the content (though I can hardly discern it) certainly fulfills the challenge. |

butterflyby xripollComment: I can only assume that this is a butterfly wing based on the title. The picture is out of focus and lacks range of colour so as to make the subject indiscernable. Also, the picture size is very small making things even more difficult to see. |

The edgeby mozbugsComment: This does satisfy the challenge, however, I think the lack of colour makes this less interesting. A B&W grainy shot can sometimes invoke certain feelings that add to a photograph (i.e. 'edginess' which you allude to in your title), however, it does not do it for me in this case. |

He Won't Walk Without Itby Adam520Comment: Good idea. I wish the photgraph was in focus and had a better light source. The light shines off the arm creating a distraction from what I imagine is the focal point of the photo - the wind-up part. |

Reaching Outby techtraumComment: Thank you for the comments. I agree completely that the photo was not quite right - I was most disappointed with the blurry reflection. This photo was a last minute shot (taken less than half and hour before the deadline) that I took because I was unhappy with my original idea. I didn't notice the blurriness till it was too late (I think it was caused by dustiness in the mirror!). |

Handsby reddwarf89Comment: This is one of the most original ideas for the competition, nice Escher interpretation! |
