Such a long title and actually more confusing than helpful. The charts presumably must reflect the corporate world, graphs of stocks or economic indicators but it could really be graphs of anything. The lighting is too dark and the angle at the top is rather unfortunate; don't care for the radiator showing. Carpet and napkin on tray rather clash.

Hokie, I am VERY disappointed this picture didn't do better. I honestly thought it would win. Anyway, it was very artistic and very well done.Outstanding. Please let us know how you did the light around the rope. Bravo for a superb picture.

Somehow, I thought of having commented on this image earlier this week (and was somewhat negative about how the bottom of the rope was washed out by the light. Now, I see that as a strength to make it more symbolic). Anyway, I wanted to revisit this image. It is a very strong image and I like it more than when I first saw it. Have been wondering how you did that white light surrounding the rope? It's very cool. Also like the background, the composition and the way you cropped the left. The props you use are very to the point and all represent nice touches. It's a very artistic image and also very eloquent. It does sum things up pretty well, doesn't it. I upped the score a few notches and can't go any higher :)
It's all right on. Journey

Don't see how these stairs against the Beware of Dog shed relate to the Corporate World. Would like to know how you created this image.

Nice image and thanks to your long title it fits in the Corporate World challenge category. But only because you say so.

Economical or economic? Not a great deal of visual impact. That Fraud piece of paper is floating nicely on top of the report but do I detect the dark container it is sitting on?

I like the B&W to underscore the Old Time idea. Don't like the harsh sun light that washes out the top right and creates those exaggerated and distracting lines over the image. Would have cropped out the side of the building too to give more emphasis on the Heritage Mercantile, both old, pre-corporate ideas. Am sure you made this shot when out on a drive. Too bad you couldn't take it early in the morning or before dusk when the light wouldn't have been so bad.

Fail to see how this relates to the challenge. Seems more a reflection on homelessness which could be caused by substance abuse, abusive childhoods, etc, etc, and maybe also somewhat by corporate ruthlessness. Don't like the angle of the store and image is out of focus.
