My Country Tis of Theeby MJENNIComment: I would have loved to have seen this in it's natural colours...I think it could have been a great shot!
The focus, the clouds, the moment, the message and the subject all added up to a 10 photo.
The angled flag pole and the post-processing have reduced that significantly...I give it a 6...I can't wait to see the original! |

Lights Outby arsharifComment: When a photo lacks any emotion (such as the 'setup' lightbulb shots normally do) you need something else. This 'something else' is usually a 'Wow factor' or something exciting/interesting about the photo to draw you in. I'm not getting any of that from this photo. What were you 'going for'? How could you have achieved the "Wow" that was needed? |

Still Belovedby Judith PolakoffComment: Almost really great! I would have preferred a lower angle. Also, the fact that just a tiny part of the doll (foot) is cropped seems unintentional.

Vacated Shellby whatdewucComment: Good colour, good texture...very "European ad" feel to it with the colours and crop. I'd be very surprised if this was taken by a North American as it's lacking the super-intense drama that every photo "has to" have!
Great photo...7 |

brokenhearted by librodoComment: Well done, although seems too sterilized for a broken heart. Where's the runny nose, the blotchy make-up, the million emotions? I'll give it a 7 because it's a great photo but I'm not convinced... |

Shattered Dreamsby BeetleComment: Jane Smith? This is a somewhat bland looking image and is missing the human element of pain...I know the hands are there, but I'm not at all convinced. And the "Jane Smith" seems very 'made up'... |

Unhingedby ranoutComment: Youl'l probably get marked down for the size of this photo as it's hard to get a good look at it...that being said, it looks like it could have been a great photo although I'm not too excited about the placement of the hinge in the frame. the composition seems to be lacking in this regard. otherwise, a great subject with great mood to it. |

Abandonedby rmtm333Comment: Nice colour and mood. I don't really like the way the bottom of the frame (the sill?) has been cropped off on the left side of the photo. The subject and colour have potential but the picture is not yet interesting. I would be tempted to have zoomed out and made the window less overbearing.
