Greetings,
I just stumbled upon your print, wow, great idea, and I love the snail, and while I know nothing about music, (other than how to press play on the CD player, lol) I'm assuming thats part of a guitar he's on which has wonderfull depth of field and tones. The only thing that distracts me from this photo is the trail of "slime" behind the snail, ewwwwww, I think I would have cloned it out in PS, but still a very cool image!

Ok, I LOVE the color contrast between the red relaves in the forefront and the eart tones behind them, as well as the soft water, however, the rest of it looks a little soft on the focuse, particularly the underside of the one large boulder in the middle of the pic. and the smaller rocks to the left rear of it. As it is it's still a 6 in my book, if those components were sharper I would have probably rated it an 8. Still a wonderfull shot though!

I like this concept, I too had the same idea, just didnt have time to pull it together, what I think would have made it better were a mode of transportation (i.e. car, bike etc) in the middle, if it were a car with both signals on appearing unsure of where to go. As it is now it looks more like "choices" than "indecision" to me, nice colors and focus though, 5. Mike

Greetings,
Great colors, I especially like the contrast between the tree and the blue sky, although I think I might have cloned out the bird, (I hate it when they sneak into shots for free!, lol!)

Greetings,
Other than the blurry dude nearest the store, I like the photo the best out of the three, I understand that you needed the long shutter time, which caused the blur, and I'm sure the store was slightly busy, but.....still distracts me, great concept, without the blurry dude, I would have given it a 6 or so....

Great concept, however, the "looking down" point of view on these people is slightly disturbing, not sure if it was intentional or not. I would have liked to see either a closeup of these people or a closer group shot on a better angle, still a good concept. 5, mike

Greetings all,
Thanks for the votes, and especially the two comments, I went out the night after the entry deadline had past and re-shot this picture, I think the reshoot came out a hell of a lot better and would love to know what others think....

The next night I went out and reshot my "Night Shots II" entry, and was much happier with it, I have only had my camera a month, so I'm still learning my way aorund it. Just wish I had learned a little faster as my reshoot was a day after the challenge deadline, lol.

Wow,
Remarkable Image, the detail is incredible, IMHO, the only MINOR distraction is the glare off of the bee's wings, and I dont think tht there is anything you could do about it, other than a PS trick, or maybe change the angle of the shot a little, maybe....wow, wish I still had bees around here, now I wanna play with some, oh well have to wait until spring
