I enjoyed this photo a lot. I liked the surprise it provoked. I relate it to mobsters, which is exactly how the corporate top managers have behaved lately. The cherry is an excellent addition. The light and colors are very good, and the angle of the subject is original. My favorite for this challenge, amongst all, including mine.

Karmat: the left side monitor is a drawing surface that reflected the natual back light. The right one is a computer monitor, and at the center we have a back-proyection monitor.

The title perhaps was not the best choice. I just wanted to infer the empty board room of a corporation with the empty accounts. (fortunately we are not involved at all with the corporate disasters of lately, eventhough we are a telecomunications company, but since we are based in Mexico, the acconting rules here wouldn't permit such errors and frauds.

I appreciate very much all the good and helpful comments I received this week. I have to confess I was baffled at the results I obtained with my entry this last week. I honestly didn't entertain the illusion as a real possibility of ending in the top 10, but I do not understand ending this low in the list, trying hard to be objective about the other pictures presented. With my previous submissions I considered the results acceptable, even a little surprising in one of them, but for me the voting process and criteria applied has become an utter mystery. Quite discouraging, at first. I'll leave this behind me for now and wait for this week's results.

I am very grateful that so many of you made good and constructive comments. Mostly I would like to answer your questions: Yes, I should have performed a gamma adjustment, which I did the next day after sending it. Unfortunately, I came back so late from the beach that Sunday, that I was in a big hurry to make the deadline, and I had only time to resize it and send it. I'll never do that again. The title is hard to translate, since there is no term for that in English, but it means something like a spiritual cloning, in Spanish. Yes, they are twins, and my reason to live. The picture was not turned upside down, it was shot that way, and they were really sleeping, otherwise I would have been able to take only fast action photos from them. Thanks again to all for such nice comments.
