Bands of Hopeby giegaComment: This was one of my two favorite images for this challenge. I love the use lighting and color here. And the way these bracelets are stacked makes a great composition! Great job! Good luck to you! |

Hoping for a winning Goalby arnitComment: I voted this as one of my 10's because of the great stop action and the expression you caught! I love how they are both in the air with such an intent expression and body language on both of them. And the ball in the air over his head was just icing on the cake! Great job! |

Fish for Supperby JPRComment: Your composition here is very nice with both the fisherman and the boat - I like how they are "heading" into each other. I don't know whether you planned this as an artistic effect - but your photo has an antique feel to it - due to the graininess (noise) and colors so muted that it is almost black and white. |

Nothing to sayby fatalfameComment: I like the dramatic contrast between the darker gray clouds and the lighter rosy ones. While this photo has captured some really pretty rose tones in the clouds and some interesting wisps of clouds- there is no focal point to pull your eye into the picture nor are there strong lines to lead your eye through the picture. I'm also not real sure how this fits the hope theme. |

Around the Bendby wahsabiComment: This is a diffiult shot to do well - you have your bright sunlit areas (which are overexposed here bringing a loss of detail to the grasses beside the trail) and your shadow areas. The use of a neutral density graduated filter helps to even out the exposure. Also taking photos after the sun has moved behind the mountain or on a cloudy day can even out the exposure also. If you are planning to use photoshop gradient filters - expose for the brightest areas and then use shadow reduction or a gradient layer to bring out the details in the shadows. (I'm not sure what the rules are here about gradient layers and shadow reduction- an ND gradient filter at time of taking the shot is definitely legal.) Good luck! |

hope against hopeby whiteroomComment: I like how you captured such a pensive, hopeless look. Technically this photo has a lot of noise or too much grain. |

A new life beginsby NodeComment: This is too dark - It is hard for me to see what you are trying to show us. |

Bottom of the Ninthby eptasdiComment: While I like your subject and your composition - the entire photo is too grainy or has an overprocessed feel to it. |

Hope In The Skyby LongComment: Your clouds are beautiful here, but your horizon is VERY tilted. |
