The unfocused brush in the foreground caused me to score this one low. Also it seems more of a photojournalism photo (I am assuming this is George Bush's Maine residence) than a scenic landscape or cityscape.

While you have a very pretty sunset and setting, the prominence of the people detracts from the landscape theme. And the lightpoles also pull my eye away from the beauty of the scene.

While this is a nice shot - certainly gives me the feeling of autumn and approaching winter- I don't think it meets the challenge. When I think of landscapes, I think of intimate settings in the woods or by a stream or a broader view of mountains, lakes, and rivers. The same is true with cityscapes - a broader view than say just a sidewalk or planter. I would have voted this higher in a different challenge.

When I think of landscape - I think of something where the scenery whether city or country is the main feature in the shot. People naturally draw our attention in a photo - and this story is more about this girl than it is the scenic beauty.

I would have liked this one a lot better if you had captured the rainbow over something more scenic than a parking lot for this challenge. The foreground feels very dark.

This is more of a people photo - and I really like it - nice and sharp, great leading lines that lead to your subject crossing the bridge. I would have voted this much higher in a differennt challenge.

This strikes me as more of a still life than a landscape. I like the details and the spirit of this photo. I would rank it much higher in a different challenge.
