Architecture comes to mind rather than communication in prayer when I see this photo. I would love a challenge with historical buildings. The lighting could use light and shadow movement. I like the angle and would like to see the point of the rooftop. Thanks for sharing.

I don't kwow if this photo would scare potential dpchallenge recruits but it is the most well known means of communication out there. I find the visual much more negative than the spoken word that can express astonishment, praise and even bliss. Excellent Challenge entry. You need two or more to communicate this symbol. At the risk of reputation and lowering standards, my artistic gut give you a 9. Great focus, loved the blurred background, get your nails trimmed. I'd thank you but you just told me off.

Excellent portrait. I miss the communication between two individuals or groups required by the challenge. The orange on the shoulder adds vibrant color to photo. Nice smile and gaze to the horizon. Thanks.

Sign Language - Bullsh**

What is so great about the art of sign language is the fact that you can say swear type words on TV or even on this dpchallenge site without causing a fuss. Very theatrical with dark background. Hand movement captured on still hides movements I've seen done with extra emotion. Great topic, excellent photo. Thanks.

Totem

Is this a totem or just a macro of a lock or something similar? Reminds me of Wilson, the ballfriend Tom Hanks tamed on a deserted Island. Very spiritual mood. I am an avid follower. Ten.
At second glance I enjoyed the blushed red cheek and the interesting lined reflection in the upper left corner giving the photo even more depth.

I gave this one a early 10 and a spot on my favorites but had to bump it down due to fantastic entries this time around. The parts theme was less obvious as other photos. Focus off but the lines and subject moving. One of my favorite nines. Thanks.

A sad horse

I prefer to call it peaceful, introspective or content horse. The lighting is spectacular and enhances the contrast between the whites against the dark brown bridle and eye area. I really get the idea of seeing a painted poney, especially with the eyelash whites. Great close-up 9. Thanks.

Title reminds me of number crunching while sizing digital images for DPChallenge. I liked the reflection and lighting. The lines and holes taken at an angle created to my surprise little depth. I wonder if the expanded wishbone/sling shot pipe makes the illusion of the smaller holes to be wider. Thanks for the optical teaser.

I'm still looking for a great guitar to add to my favorites collection. I love the upper frames distant fading into darkness and the sunburst reds and yellows of the wood surface. The blurred high note frets was less appealing to me. My love for music bumps you up to an 8. Thanks.
