Forget the falling asleep shots. Here is where the imagination collides with the three R's. This is where schooling ends and thinking independently begins. Is this visual boredom or vigourous math calculations or even the creative genius about to invent atomic hydrogen fuel? I just love everything about this shot. No contest 10 times thanks.

Love the crisp stillness of the main subject with the swirling bystanders movements. Nice primairy colors brighten otherwise dull beige background. Did not like brightness of upper right but enjoyed the contrast, the shadow play and the very bright blue teapot-yo-yo shape on the back pack. Thanks for your 10

It is never too late to learn. You can teach an old dog new tricks. Subject seems very relaxed. Are you sure he hasn't been reading too much of the wine book in the upper right shelve? Very busy but nice photo for family type album. Thanks.

My previous vote was also a sleeper but yours got an extra point for angle choice, better use of light and shadow, the out of place plate with mysterious items and of course the earing. I believe the choice of black and white helps keep the photo from being too busy. Niner fine by me.

I'm begining to think that education is an exercise in relaxation or a brain draining event. I guess there is no replacing early to bed and rise, good food and exercise. I love the combination of whites and darks between papers, sweater and sunlight vs vest hair + shadow and background furniture. Good 8 mate.

School Bell

This is my second bell this challenge and I can't get around my myth of seing the ocean ship, a church or wondering what pitch the bell tolls. I like the red brick that reminds me of the three pigs and lego blocks and yes I admit it an old school..Ok, Ok you get points for clarity and theme. I would have scored higher for a less face to face shot with a bit more shadow for variety and movement. Thanks.

Architecture, museum, window frame, lighting, high class education perhaps...I loved the lines and architecture but I had to rub my eyes before education became the focal point. I enjoyed the dim visual shapes seen in the middle and upper right corner shadows away from the window. Thanks for the photo.

Loved the photo but reminds me of what my dreams are like when my teacher is boring. Maybe this photographer did a lot of daydreaming in school to become an inventor or a great artist. School's out for summer points for changing my focus away from all these classroom photos.
