hehe nice....i think u need to reevaluate your opinions of digital art....this to me i still a photo (although i never call digital images photos since they arn't) that is a diffrent story.......

i think and actualy know this type of thing can be done in a darkroom with textured paper an such....to me digital art is when it can no longer be minuplated it the same way via a darkroom (as if the shot were a neg.) i think u hit on a nice IMAGE here but not yet digital art.

out of all the shots that u've done of "the dead poets" i think this 1 hits classic rock band look the most.........
it totaly looks like a preshot to something they would put in Rolling Stone.

it think to get it all the way it needs to be rotated to the left so they don't look like they are falling twards the right.

also u could try some fun stuff like make another layer and corme it so they turn metal like....then lay it on top of this 1 at an opasity of some where around 65% or maybe u could get away with 50%....then use the eraser tool to take away the crome so parts of them look human and parts look metal.......it really brings about a cool look for a rock band of their type.

thats all i got on this shot....i would just say go alittle more towards the wild side with it.

note also if u do the crome afect u might want to only applie it to them so u rn't erasing the entire backround

this is a great shot.....i lov the reflection of the just about everything in the water but espical the skyline and city lights...the boats reflection is also really nice...but for kicks u shold try cloning it out for a more toned down simple look.

the only prob i have it the horizion seems to be tilted twards the left...i bet if u rotated the canvis in PS about 1 step CW it would cure that and it would be and awsome shot...alreay is that would just help it more.

also for fun mess with curves just on the sky and see if u can get some white clouds in there really pop the sky then the image would be extra stunning

the only reason i could see would be the grayscale isn't quite to that of ansel's famous zone system.......no pure black apears in this image and there for voters to for granted the beauty and the simmularities between this image and many of ansel's.

i'm also sorry this didn't place higher great shot very nice leading lines u can really get lost in this.

nice.......not much else i can say...i assume that it was shot with natural light so i can really say the ligh is flattish....i might just suggest as ansel adoms did to watch the weather it looks as if this was shot at dawn dusk or on a cloudy day......when it should've been (for best light) at arough 10:30am or 2:00pm when u get just the right amount of shadow and light......
most dramatic times..........to take in light
