Rietvleiby ksnymanComment: this is a pretty scene if only the shot were saved at a larger size it would be easer to see.
as it is if it were more vivid (coloration), and a big image here on the site i think it would be placed a good many points higher....its just to far to really take in, in any really way.
i see the rule of thirds tho and not alot of ppl. have that se well done and nice choice of framing (virt. that is) GL (way to sneek the moon it) |

mischeif & her shadowby irish_eyesComment: great sence of distence and great use of thirds, if the subject could've been over to the left just a tad it would be dead on. but great job as it is. hope it gets the vote is should...
(and i'm NOT usaly a big "baby shot" fan) |

Looking At Meby KitaComment: this is a really great portrate but it just doesn't have enough of the rule in it....sorry...cause it is a really good capture, just doesn't apply to the challenge the way it could if the rule was better praticed |

Shadow Playby jiggsComment: this really doesn't have enough of the rule in it to grab 1s attention
also it is a major "no" to have your shadow in the image or at least to show the camera.....not always but in a shot like this 1 it definatly detracks.
well doe with the desaturation tho. |

Mud Puppyby aronya1Comment: this is cute but IMHO doesn't have enough of the rule shown in it to really apply
ie.-the subject is more fill frame even tho it is the nose which u want to grab the focus i think the entire expression is the focus and so the rule is to far lost to be....well as i look harder its ok, i think maybe in future just to clear it up even more use a larger apiture so as to take the dogs face more out of focus and that would support the rule better.
remember its really the placement of your subject not just the placement of the focus...otherwise like i said it is a really cute image. GL |
