Really nice B&W image. Wish there was just a bit more detail in the shadow but its a good entry.

The silhouette would be nice, but being placed nest to such a detailed background kind of muddies the waters too much. I wonder how this could change with the sun on the opposite side, and possibly lower to bring out the detail on the, well, thing, instead of hiding it, to more focus your attention on it.

What is looping around the handle? My eyes are instantly drawn to it. I think I would have prefered this in color so the color of the lake (?) could show. Nice setting. 7

7 - Forgotten and 'obsolete'. Great scene. Criticism; more definition, or contrast, not sure. Technically, while no 'expert' in the rule(s), seems you have placed the "point of interest" (as a whole) fairly strictly, however, for me, my 'eye' goes first to the 'head of the dragon' so, if that were nudged a little more to the left, with some more space on the right, may have made this an even better shot in my opinion. Not sure on the frame.

Beautiful desolate perspective. Good luck!
