Island Breezeby anthonyczajaComment: great shot. looks ever so slightly hazy. just a tad more contrast would solve that but as it is its fine and i kinda even like it with that wash, so leave it and ignor the 1st part of this comment :O) GL |

Whatever Your Fancy? How about a pair of Zebras???by m_martinhereComment: the framing on this is a little odd its not quite center (or maybe it is ment to be) and its not quite fill or for that matter rule of thirds or any of that. its a great idea and a good shot, maybe utilizing DoF more would help give it a stronger focal point and really add so punch to a very cool (dizzingly so) image. |

Snow Gear, As Neededby hahn23Comment: cool, or cold, one of those.
nice shot, verry different from the rest of the challenge. could even be an REI add or something like that, but (there's always a but huh) i think the choice of having the hand i the back pocket was a bad 1. if it were in the jacket pocket would be better (IMO) or if it were in the front pocket of the jeans it would be ok-slightly better.
thats my only prob. like the framing and it hits right about in the rule of thirds so over all nice image very cool/cold and different good to see that! |

FLIP FLOP SPLASH.by harleyComment: i would like to see this cropped for less of the leg, rule of thirds, and elimanation of the other leg from the frame. also would be nice to have a clean&clear stop motion of the water. |

Roxanne or Dorothy.......Naughty or Nice.by itsmetenaComment: the mirror was a good ides, but IMO the angle is wrong and the reflection of the black sheet shows all to clearly.
next time to use this affect try a long exposure with verry dim light so that the sheet does not show but blacks out. i used basicaly the same technique for my paint with light submition sheet, mirror and all. but the light was so focused and dim that it didn't show in the reflection. (the sheet i used was actualy blue also)
you had the right idea and good instinced. give it another shot you don't need much and this would be a really dynamic image.
also shoot from the front of the shoes so the heel and underside arn't so strong in the image. oh and try using glass in place of the mirror its not quite as reflective place it on top of you black cloth and the try you lighting just a desk lamp or somthing, you will be shocked.
GL and keep at it. |

Oxbloods In The Rainby amyr37Comment: i like the image and the use of DoF but the lighting seems a little hot and harch to me. there is alot of overexposed points on the shoe and i would like to see less but still mantian that white burst backround |

Long dayby abroken1Comment: great grayscale, i like the textured backround also and the placement of everything (staging and all that). |

unexpected displacementby tateComment: intrusting image. next time (although i know its hard to predict the corse of a thrown object) try to get it in the upper right-hand third. this will draw the viewers eye much more to the shoe and make it a more dynamic image. |

Black Strap-Onsby MakkaComment: nice shot well lite with good consistent skin tone. i can see that you used a sheet as you white backdrop, this is great but be sure to strech it real tight.....it only shows b/c i'm on a calabrated LCD and my screen angle was a little low, from front on it looks clean and white. so don't worry. and GL |
