really one of the best that i've seen, if it doesn't place highly i can only think it must be the fact it doesn't screem crative use of a 2 second exposure but nicly done with this, it is a splended B&W has a great feel and great DoF.

nice shot over all, great focus also. i think the lighing is nice here but could've been improved bye the use of another light from the bottom of the fram to help calm the shadow of the hands

my friend has this same bass in the same color, it is sitting in my room right as i type this and i use it to back myself on recordings, but that is irrelivent, it is late here.....

the shot is good nice use of DoF i would've messed with the WB and set it for tungston lighting. but never the less good idea great sence of motiong in the strings a slight USM may have also helped to really make everything but the strings sharp. at least for the web(smaller version) GL

this image IMO is hurt by harch dark shadows, to much contrast and poor choice of DoF use.

the very pocket should be infocus as well as the 8 ball maybe f16.....the light should be from both sides to minimize shadow or at least a fill from the left to cut down on the intencity. and curves should be used as well as maybe a screen layer to lighten the image and make the color brighter and more natural, not contrast which drove away defination of shape in the 8 ball.

GL well worth a reshoot/edit
