R*E*T*I*C*E*N*Tby RoosterComment: very striking.
a little contrast would help it in tone and definition other than that its very striking and well done. nice DoF also |

It Won't Be Long Now, Mummyby RosskoComment: i would like to see a fine but well defined line to the back of the childs shirt, its not a must but to me it is that or dogg the eadges of the mother and make her apear from the backdrop also.....just a thought |

Nest Eggby LaughJockeyComment: cool, but i'm not sure its considered to be a portrait. i'll give it to ya tho cause its a cool affect and the reflection idea hasn't been used much in this challenge. |

Behold a Pale Eggby GeneralEComment: the post prosses here is very drastic and i can see the eadges, next time watch for that with feathering or blend it better in another way so it is less appearent. also using DoF to achieve the same resould would have saved time and been a cleaner image in the end.....its a nice cover also but doesn't strike me as a studio portrait...this is based on the difused/and somewhat flat light (as from a cloudy day)... a spot simple home light set up and it would read more as studio... |

Make A Joyful Noiseby ladyhawk22Comment: cool i didn't know anyone still had the those old redondos (i'm a fender freek mad props, for the props!)
i've olny ever played 1 from 1963 but it sold to some collecter and didn't sound 2 good anyway....
but yeah the photot...lol..
the color tones and softness work although the pose is a little odd it also works, over all looks like a working photogs. portrait but sadly nothing strikes me 2 much about the subject/model....i'm more impressed with the guitar. so yeah...if the pose were more friendly and less IMO akward, and hunckered down the over all point of the portrait (the person) would be a little more gripping and attention grabing.
6 + made props for the guitar (if its a true vintage).... |

Portraitby KevinRiggsComment: the black back drop provides a nice contrast but the vignette that darkens the bottom of the shirt lessens contrast the affect |
