The tulip looks as if its about to melt. The lighting is good. I especially like the swirls. Wish I could see a bit more detail around the edges though.

Love the detail of the bird and the position of the wings (very unusual to me because in most pictures I see they are fully extended rather than bent). Not crazy about the change in background color though. The green (or maybe its the blue) is a bit distracting and doesn't have the same feel as the other side. My husband disagrees, and it is still alot better than I could do, but that's my 2 cents. I gave this a 9.
