Fire Escapeby stupidcatComment: I like the idea behind this, though it could use with a little more contrast, and the green foliage is a bit distracting. |

Flying dreamby hjolliComment: Interesting idea and perspective. Image quality could be better but otherwise this is quite effective. |

Closedby cpanaiotiComment: Its a nice reflection - that water is very pure looking, I can't help but feel however, that this image would have worked better with a little more above water context for the reflection - the reflections are not quite powerful enough to support the image on their own. Definately a good idea though. |

Caribbean Summerby eojedaaComment: Very pretty scene - perhaps a cloer crop aroound the middle of the frame would have been beneficial, but it's definately a pretty waterfull. |

The Peanut Binsby davidbedardComment: I like your thinking in photographing these - I can't help but thinking a better time of day/another perspective would have worked better - the sadwos cast over the first two bins are a little overpowering. |

White Pelicanby MWittComment: Nice capture, I like the pose a lot - I think a closer crop might have made for a stronger image though. Good effort! |

Untitledby jmsetzlerComment: Hmmm, I never knew what to make of this one Mr. Setzler :).
I like the wary expression on his face - almost suspicious, its a good capture - he almost seems to be seeking refuge behind his nations flag, so I guess it's symbolic on that level. I can't help but think you've probably got 15 images tucked away in that portfolio that I would like better. Still I commend you for submitting the image you liked best and not the one that would necessarily score the highest. Let's face it, personal satisfaction is the best reward an image can provide (Unless you get the the stage where you're selling 11x14's for 10 grand that is :P).
Best wishes for 2005.

Breakfastby majuicyComment: Hehehe, Look, to be honest, I'm not really sure why you think this is your best photo of the year. I'm sure you have taken something better than this.
Best of luck in 2005. |

Cheese Dipby Jeff103Comment: hehehe, nice catch. Pretty girl. The flash is a bit harsh - i.e the reflections on her forehead are a bit strong. |
