Tyre cemetaryby Mad-DComment: Well, you Icelanders really do like you burned skies...either that or it is perpetually really really stormy and the cloads just happen to lighten just as they begin to envelop the subject.
Still, I really like this a lot, and this is one of the rare occasions where I agree with the use of a frame - it adds something here.
Nice work |

viewfinderby AmasonComment: Well done, I really would love to get a look at the full sized version of this, if beautiful. |

Battle Lines by CamComment: Hehe, well done, a first place and a 5th place from essentially the same shot.... thats what I call efficiency!. The funny thing is that in both circumstances you met the challenge perfectly.
As for the execution... I didn't really like the original.. but this one is a really great shot. Good job of learning from your past efforts and improving.
Im also curious as to how big these replicas are? Im assuming they arent lifesize like the real thing (by real thing I mean the ones in China) ?? Message edited by author 2004-11-01 18:36:55. |

One Of Many. Why? by Mark of SRQComment: This picture makes me uncomfortable, which is exactly what it should. Might be better in black and white. 7. |

Famishedby connieComment: I remember looking at this shot during the challenge and thinking something along the lines of 'this should win, but it won't'. Unfortunately it seems I was right.
Terrific tones and composition, well done. |

School Stuffby webkingComment: Bright, colourful and happy - great lighting, sharp focus..... but Im still bored (Though really the same applies to ninety percent of the images in this challenge...so I'll lay the blame there for that - 6) |

reading, 'riting and 'rithmeticby umbrisComment: Not exactly exciting, but the fact that the books are so old at least held my interest enough to click on the thumbnail. I really like the Lighting here though, so definately above average |

Mr. Trooper, the substitute teacher, always freaked me out.by thommoComment: Finally, somebody made me laugh outloud. Im not going to comment on the technical aspects of this photo because in the midst of all the yawn inducing shots in this challenge actual laughter is more than enough to get you a 10. Hopefull more people will think like me and this will come close to ribboning (Unfortunately most people generally don't think like me - but good luck anyway).
