The pose and facial expression combines with the windswept hair to lend this shot a feeling of authenticity sorely lacking in many of the portrait shots you see around. Really like the black and white treatment. All in all I can see why you chose this as your best of the year. Well done, 9. |

Sweet babyby NunoComment: Not a bad image, but an awful choice for the selective desat. The colour of the dummy(pacifier) is atrocious, and I really don't see why you'd want to draw attention to it anyway. Next time take the thing out of the baby's mouth before shooting.
