Homeward Bound by crabappl3Comment: I like this image. It's cool how the light makes stripes down the road. However this is not an image of the place you call home, even if it may lead to your home. I would also have liked to see something at the end of the path since the road leads you into the picture and there's nothing there. 6 |

The Guitaristby arnitComment: This is a cool concept. I would have executed it differently though. I think the dof is slightly too shallow. The only point of sharp focus is the knob on the bottom third of the picture. That cord sticking out is hugely distracting as well. I like that you've included the guitarist in the image even though I would have photographed him playing rather than looking at the camera. (just a personal preference) All in all I like this shot |

Portrait Of A Turretby LarsPaysenComment: I'm not sure which means you used to get to a duotone but this doesn't look like I would have expected it to. The deep brown in the sky is very nice but the brown is either absent or barely there in the architecture. The lighter midtones hold almost no colour at all while the darker ones on the right side of the picture have fairly saturated browns. I will be interested to see exactly how you did this. |

Whitneyby draney4Comment: This would be an absolutely lovely portrait if it weren't for the focus. It is absolutely critical IMO for the eyes in a portrait to be sharp and unfortunately they are not. The auto focus was probably tricked into focusing on the hat. |

The Great Escape by wayne9232Comment: This is very cute! Bump up the brightness/contrast/saturation and you'd have a better chance at winning |
