A l m o s tby phloverComment: that's a really wild shot and it puts me on the edge in terms of meeting the challenge. on one hand, it captures the action of a sport (and it does that extremely well). on the other hand, it smacks of being a set up shot (as opposed to one captured in competition). it will undoubtedly win over the dpc eye-candy crowd, but i'd prefer something caught in the wild.
it's just that it looks strobed to perfection; if i'm wrong, well, my apologies and congratulations on a killer shot... |

Strengthby amcamComment: sorry, but dmnc. pretty picture, but it's more of a landscape with workout equipment than a sports action photo. if you gotten right behind the guy, shooting up into the sun, or above him, you might have gotten something closer to meeting the challenge. |

Fixationby npaselComment: i like this and i don't like it. it's rare to capture visual symmetry in sports - you really have to work for it - but, the sepia tone kills it for me. bw would have been good, but sepia and action don't mix that well. |

Smash!!!by BuddyBaumComment: alright, i'll give you props for setting the shot up and executing it, but i'm not giving you any points for it. if you have a racket and ball, i'd rather you have shot them actually being used in play, like, um, in action ;-) |

Believe and you will achieve!by JudiComment: you have a technically perfect photo of...what? you have a camera capable of capturing images in this environment, but i can't tell what you're shooting. when you have so much going on in a place like that, you need to shoot with the shortest depth of field and find a spot where you can isolate a subject with minimal background distractions. |

100M Hurdles by MattOComment: spot on shot. fwiw, it has a sense of imbalance that could have been corrected with a tighter crop that centered the subject. look how much more powerful it would have been cropped down to just above her head, over to her knee, and almost up to her foot. |

Wild Pitchby bspurgeonComment: great moment, nice work with the exposure. in reality, you could have cut the photo in half, delivering simply a vertical of the batter. the tendency is to include the whole thing, but all the dead space in the middle is too distracting. |

Busted!by JaimeVinasComment: dang! that ref's butt is right in the way! hate it when that ruins what would otherwise be a killer shot. |

The pivotby PenelopeKComment: nice work. you might try shooting from a lower perspective and shooting a little tighter. take the viewers into the action that they can't see from the sidelines. |
