Customby Chilly0999Comment: Perfect framing. very nice exposure and just the right level of sharpness. Possibly a bit oversaturated, but it does work here. |

Fill My Pockets! (Uncropped)by EddyGComment: I like this shot, I can feel the anticipation! Would have been a great submission for "unanswered questions".
I think the "(Uncropped)" detracts from an otherwise good title |

City in twilightby pitsamanComment: Nice Chicago scene. You found some great light. I think this submission could have more impact with just a bit more contrast and slightly more saturation. |

'67 Beetleby tfarrell23Comment: Like the framing. Beautiful rich tones. Neither overly sharp or too soft. Exposure is perfect. You should do well with this. |

Old Soul by sherComment: My favorite of this challenge! I just love your choice of framing, and yes, even though the subject is perfectly centered, this works for me. The colors and DOF are perfect. Kudos.
I feel that your choice of title really enhances the photo as well |

Pretty in Pinkby Alpine99Comment: I really like this subject and your take on it. I think the bit of wood at the bottom is distracting however. Also, the slight barrel distortion is somewhat bothersome to me. I played around and corrected this and it does look much better. |

..::: Eternal Country Life :::.. (in Infrared)by DavenitComment: I was astounded to see that you did not place in top three in that challenge. It's a head shaker. I ran the vote pattern through a statistical analysis to see what was going on, and concluded that there was no unusual voting, just a plain old "gaussian" or normal distribution, albeit with a high standard deviation. I cannot explain this other than to hypothesize that some people just did not understand your submission.
I've had a similar experience with one of my submissions, with an even worse score. Granted, my photo was not nearly as good as yours. I voted yours a 10, BTW, one of only a few I have given in over 8,000 votes.
Don't take to heart the votes of those who seemingly have little imagination. You met the challenge, you submitted a strikingly beautiful, thought-provoking image, and many of us recognized that. Have fun with your photography, and please do continue to contribute to the site.

..::: Eternal Country Life :::.. (in Infrared)by DavenitComment: This is my favorite of this challenge! It has an incredibly ethereal feel, I love the smooth gradient of the sky. I very much like the framing as well. One of the best artistic uses of infrared I have seen. Anywhere. |
