I really like what you did with this image. It works grat as a duotone, and indeed it works as "high key"; even thought the original was overexposed, very little detail was lost in the faces.
the only thing I'd do different is the area around her neck, the oval looks "fabricated". Leave in a little of her shirt and shoulder, creating a more natural neckline.

Nice clean shot, like the framing. The turn signal indicators are small distraction.
I actually had this same idea for this challenge but didn't have time to shoot it... and I also have a late model diesel VW Jetta (Bora) !
