Wishful Thinkingby ddmckinney1954Comment: A very evocative image, and one of my favorites of thi challenge. I really like the tones and the softness, as well as the cat's expression. Good work! |

window to the pastby nordicComment: I like your composition and choice of light, and what a beautiful subject! I think ther could be some added impact by bringing in the black point a bit, and applying a slight contrast boost. A bit more (genlt!) USM after resizing could help bring back out some of the great detail in the brickwork. |

Liquidateby asijComment: How much difference "invert" can make! Very creative, incredible how the color reversal brings out the detail in the water.
I only wish she was not centered in the frame. try flipping the image horizontally then cropping so she is at the left "third" line.
On second thought, belay that. Looks better cropped with her at the LEFT thirds line, but not reversed.
One of my favorites this challenge. Good luck! |

Oranginalby MightyMouseComment: You've lost quite a bit of detail because the red channel is almost completely "blown out"... I don't know if you were going for a more abstract look, but if so it didn't really work well for me. |

"Cook's Illustrated"by daisy77Comment: Very nice lighting & composition, and I absolutely love the use of PS (or equivalent) to give it a painted look. Very natural, not overdone. Kudos. |

Country Walking Magazine by jonpinkComment: Very much like the compostion. The top looks very artificially darkened, and IMO this detracts.
Just a touch more contrast in the foregound, and maybe a touch more saturation there would help to bring out the beautiful golden tones in the plants, and emphasize the contrast with the muted blue & gray of the distant peak. |

Arizona Highwaysby tfaustComment: Like the composition, very nice light. You left the proper space for title & text. Your image contains alot of detail that could be brought out with a bit more careful sharpening. Also, the background is hazy, a common occurence. Since this is advinced editing, take advantage and select jjust the distant area and use a "clarifying" technique, e.g USM at a radius of 30, amount 30%, threshold 0. |
