I really like this compositionally, but I'm not so sure about the selective desat. Ido really like the "ghosts" from the long exposure, they really give the feeling of time passing. Nice work.

Perfect timing on this... the contrast between the warm tones of the sand adn the rich purple of the BG mountains is beautiful. I like your use of the foreground object.
there is a slight halo over the mountains, might be USM artifact?

I like the compositon, seems to work even better with "mr cell phone" providing contrast to her boredom. I'd like to see a bit of detail retained in the dark areas, but other than that I like the treatment.
