Beetleby spydrComment: I really like everything about this image. The artistry of the composition and cropping is awesome. The use of black and white and the lighting have been expertly applied. I really like the way that the small car seems pushed forward making its "presence" really strong compared to the large car which ends up being understated. This swapping of the emphasis between the large and small cars demonstrates the artistry I mentioned earlier. |

A Pawn's Pawnby joebokComment: This shot is a winner in this challenge. The colour, DOF, light and composition are all excellent. That little white speck in front of the mini pawn is the only flaw. Beautiful work. This image really creates a mood. The sense of feeling overwhelmed or perhaps protected by the scale of the surrounding pieces. |

Midday in africaby hashpComment: I like the way the colours on the floor act as a pastel version of the colours in the globe. I also like the way that you used the glare from the light to act as the sun, as the title suggests. It would be interesting to see this done with the lights off and using a torch as a light source to take it to the extreme level. The only negative comment I have is that the tag that's hanging off the globe detracts a bit from the image. Good Luck with the challenge. |

Blueyby biggood53Comment: This image is really playful. The first thing I thought was "how did they gat a real elephant to do that.......actually, where did they get a real elephant?" My only suggestion is in relation to the composition. Could I suggest that if the liitle blue elephant was placed a touch further back and then to the right at about the 1/3 mark from the right then he would line up with the large elephant in relation to the lines in the floorboards. That is the angle of the floorboards would run from the large elephants belly to the small elephants belly. This just feels like it would strengthen the composition. Good luck with the challenge. |

Crossing The Lineby bongoComment: This image has a lot of impact. The composition is great. The colours work really well together. The contrasting textures really enhance each other also. |

Riceby PhileineComment: The lighting and composition work well. The object on the right hand side that is reflected in the surface detracts from the impact of your composition though. I would suggest that a dark matt surface would really enhance the colour of the truck and contrast well with the rice. |

"How Much is That Cathedral in the Window..."by LokiComment: I like the contrast between the textures of the old building and the smoothness of the modern car and wiper. The content in the top left corner detract from the impact of the main subject. It could possibly still work even with top and left cropped to remove the background details. Making the image black and white as well might help to enhance the difference in the texture even more. |
